American Horror Story

American Horror Story is an anthology series that has been on the air since 2011. It’s produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who also created Glee. The series was originally conceived as a spinoff of their hit FOX show, Scream Queens (which they renamed to American Crime Story), but it eventually became its own entity with different characters and locations.

The first season of AHS aired in October 2011; each subsequent season features new cast members who are killed off at the end of each episode (or sacrificed). Some seasons have included multiple stories within them—for example, Asylum featured different timelines within one larger narrative arc—while others have focused on one specific story line over many episodes (Cult) or just one episode per season (Freak Show).

The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory is a comedy about a group of friends who are scientists and engineers working at Caltech.

The show stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Simon Helberg.

Broad City

Broad City is a comedy series that follows two best friends, Abbi and Ilana. The show was created by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, who also star in it.

The show’s premise is simple: both women are struggling to navigate their lives as 20-something New Yorkers; they’re also trying to avoid being alone with each other all day long because that would be boring. But despite all of this, the pair still manage to find themselves in ridiculous situations involving sex toys, drug dealers and other forms of debauchery that we’ve come to expect from any good comedy series worth its salt (and I’m sure there are many more than this). The most recent season ended on a cliffhanger so if you haven’t seen it yet then now might be an ideal time for you!

Brooklyn 99

Brooklyn 99 is a comedy series about a group of cops in Brooklyn. The show is set in the borough of Brooklyn, and it follows the lives of police officers who work together as part of an elite squad. The series stars Andy Samberg as Joe LoDuca, who wears his emotions on his sleeve; Stephanie Beatriz plays Rosa Diaz, who can’t keep her cool under pressure; Terry Crews plays Detective Andre Braxton; and Melissa Fumero plays Kim Wexler (also known as “The Captain”).

Brooklyn 99 has been nominated for multiple awards since its premiere: it won two Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy in 2014 and 2015 respectively; three Screen Actors Guild Awards including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series at both SAG Awards ceremonies (2016 & 2017); three Writers Guild Awards including Outstanding Writing Achievement In Episodic Television Drama at WGA AWARDS 2017); four Critics’ Choice Television Awards nominations including Best New Series at CC TAS 2018; four Satellite Award nominations including Best Actress In A TV Series – Musical /Comedy Role For Stephanie Beatriz/Melissa Fumero At SATURDAYS WITH MORGAN STEWART 2018

Californication is the story of Hank Moody, a novelist who decides to move to Los Angeles after his wife leaves him. When he arrives, he discovers that his writer’s block has come back and this time there’s no turning back; his work is not good enough for him anymore. He also meets some interesting characters along the way: a therapist named Karen (Kristen Bell) who helps him with his problems; an actress named Chloe (Elizabeth Berkley) who wants fame but doesn’t care about anything else in life; and one of Hank’s ex-girlfriends named Gretchen (Amanda Peet).

Californication may not be as well-known as other shows on this list but it still deserves its place here because it does something unique: it tells an honest story about writing without being preachy or overly sentimental about it. It shows how hard writing can be sometimes while never taking away from what makes it so enjoyable in the first place: creativity!

Fargo is a television series created by Noah Hawley. It is an anthology series that takes place in the Fargo-Moorhead area of North Dakota, where a crime wave is sweeping through town. The first season was released in April 2009 and was met with critical acclaim; many reviewers praised its ability to blend humor with drama to create an engaging story.

The second season premiered on April 15th, 2010 and continued to be well received by audiences as well as critics alike. It starred Billy Bob Thornton (who also directed several episodes), Martin Freeman (also known as Bilbo Baggins from The Lord Of The Rings) and Allison Tolman (who played Molly Solverson).

Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation is a comedy show about a small town government. The show is set in Pawnee, Indiana, where Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) is the deputy director of the parks and recreation department. She’s trying to save Pawnee from being taken over by commercial developers, who want to turn it into a theme park.

The cast includes:

  • Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope
