Introduction

There’s nothing more satisfying than finishing a book and knowing that you’ve just spent the last few hours immersed in another world. I’m always looking for my next great read, and these are some of my favorites to get me started.

The time when you finally get your hands on the next book by your favorite author is nothing short of magical.

When you finally get your hands on the next book by your favorite author, it’s like receiving a gift. You can’t wait to start reading and find out what happens next. You’re so invested in the characters that you want nothing more than for them to get their happy ending–or at least have some closure on whatever cliffhanger they were left on last time!

Then there’s that bittersweet moment at the end when all good things come to an end (unless you’re reading one of those series where each book is just as good as its predecessor).

Books can be just as addictive as TV shows, movies and music.

They have the power to take you on a journey that will leave you wanting more. If you’re looking for something to do on your commute or in bed before falling asleep at night, books are an excellent choice because they’re entertaining and exciting in their own way.

Sometimes you just want to curl up with a good book and get lost in another world.

You want to read something that will be exciting, entertaining, or even just plain fun. In this article we’ve compiled a list of our top five must-read books for every book lover.

  • The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

These books are perfect for anyone who enjoys dystopian fiction or action/adventure stories with strong female leads! In The Hunger Games trilogy, Katniss Everdeen lives in what was once North America but has now been split into 12 districts ruled by an oppressive government known as the Capitol. Every year one boy and one girl from each district are chosen at random to compete against each other in an event called “the Hunger Games.” These 24 teenagers fight until only one remains standing–but if you win? You may just change everything…

There are millions of books out there to choose from, but sometimes it’s easier to pick one that someone else has already recommended to you.

Maybe a friend or family member has read a book that sounds interesting, or maybe they’ve told you about one they enjoyed in the past. If this is the case, try reading their recommendation! You can also use online tools like Goodreads and BookBub (and search engines) to find new books based on your preferences–you might discover some hidden gems in the process!

You’ll never find yourself having nothing to read or a boring story again if these books are in your collection!

1. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

This series of seven fantasy novels chronicles the adventures of a talented young wizard and his friends at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as they learn to master their magical abilities. The story begins when Harry is 11 years old and he discovers that he is famous for being one of the only people ever to survive the killing curse (Avada Kedavra). He then learns that he must go to school at Hogwarts where he will train in magic with his new friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger.

2. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

In the future, children are forced to fight to the death in televised competitions. Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her younger sister’s place in the games, and she must fight for not just herself but also those she loves. The book was made into a movie, which you should definitely watch if you haven’t already! There are three other books in this series as well: Catching Fire, Mockingjay and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (which came out after this book).

3. A Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket

The Series of Unfortunate Events is a young adult fiction series that follows the lives of three orphans: the Baudelaire siblings. The books were written by Lemony Snicket, who also narrates each book and serves as an authorial voice throughout.

The first book in this series was published in 1999; there are 13 books total, with each one released every year or two after its predecessor until 2006 when publication stopped due to legal problems between Paramount Pictures (who had optioned film rights) and Scholastic Books (which published the novels). In 2017 Netflix picked up production on a TV show based on this book series which premiered its first season on January 13th 2018 and will continue through 2019 with episodes coming out weekly on Fridays at 3am ET/12am PT/8am GMT & 6pm AEDT
